Tamiya Radio Control

Tamiya radio control - makers of high performance radio control cars and trucks, has been producing high quality models since 1948 and now offers more than 300 different products, both precision static models and radio control models. The standard achieved by Tamiya radio control is regarded very highly. The Tamiya Championship Series races (TCS) are held monthly at venues around the USA and culminate in the National Championship Event that is held once a year at the Tamiya America raceway.

The TCS series started in the mid 90s and focuses on a fun racing experience. It is hosted and supported by leading stores at venues including indoor carpet and asphalt surfaces as well as outdoor parking lots.

One of the most famous monster trucks from Tamiya radio control is the Super Clod Buster. It is now available (Apr 2009) in a special edition with a brilliant metal plated body. The Super Clod Buster features a twin-motor dual gearbox 4WD power train, a durable link-arm, 8 tough coil springs and almost unbelievable 165mm diameter tires for powerful and effectiv e performance to overcome any obstacle.

• It also features a load of metal plated detail parts, - including the front grill, air-intake, roll bar, wheels and front and rear bumpers.
• The kit includes the motor and electronic speed controller and a PTC safety switch to reduce the possibility of overheating.
